Ecology of a rehabilitated forest ecosystem on sodic wasteland.
This involves study on community structure, species diversity,
productivity, nutrient cycling, agro-forestry systems
introduced and soil amelioration effects monitored.
International Relevance
These studies have been undertaken to meet global challenges
of sustainable management of sodic wasteland for environment
conservation, as also to accomplish the basic needs of the
society.
